Welcome
At Lion’s Head Meadery, everything begins with our bees.
Their honey forms the foundation of our meads, while local BC growers provide the fruit that gives each bottle its character.
From hive to bottle, the health of the bees shapes everything we make. - because it really is all about the bees
WE ARE OPEN
COME VISIT US 11AM-5PM DAILY

Between the stone cliffs of Lion’s Head, and the winding, sage-lined South Thompson River, bees drift from blossom to blossom, gathering the sweetness of the valley.
They share this land with deer moving through the grasses,
herons watching the quiet water, and bald eagles turning slowly above the ridges.
From this living landscape, we craft our mead, using honey and fruit shaped by sun, soil, and season.
Each bottle reflects this place:
the hum of bees, the flow of the river, and the wild beauty of the Thompson Valley we call home.
Bee Our Guest
Come visit us at our tasting room, where you can experience five different flavours of mead. Here, we create our mead using the entirety of the fruit rather than using fruit juice. This gives our mead a little something extra, while keeping the sweetness from overpowering the flavour.
Come see the bees on-site on our property and the raspberries we use in our own raspberry mead. The bees are the most important part for us and we're more than happy to share with you how we look after them.
And, if alcohol isn't for you, you're welcome to try our honey!
(Ps. We're also working on a haskap mocktail recipe that we hope to offer you soon)
